Senior Electrical Engineer

My client are a leading provider of products and services for industrial markets, they are seeking a self-motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our small, friendly, and professional team. Day-to-day of the role:
- Responsible for the full product lifecycle of machine electrical and control systems, including assembly, testing, and commissioning.
- Carry out both electrical and mechanical work on bespoke production equipment.
- Deliver high-quality projects within budget, cost, and time parameters.
- Adhere to best practice guidelines as laid out in specification documentation, including UKCA, CE, and UL.
- National and International travel for on-site commissioning and servicing of equipment, including fault finding and offering technical support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
- Rockwell RS5000 and Siemens S7 PLC programming skills.
- Competence in electrical and mechanical systems (3 phase, motors, inverters, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Customer-facing experience and comfortable in office, workshop, and factory environments.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of CAD software (E plan / AutoCAD).
- Experience with Equipment UKCA/CE Marking and Risk Assessment.
