From simple improvements to huge leaps, the impact a Special Needs Teacher can have on a student can truly be life-changing. Horizon Teachers are recruiting for a Special Needs Teacher to work in a SEN school in Slough on a full-time basis starting October 2024.

Their aim is to try and re-integrate them to mainstream or transfer to another special school depending on their individual needs, some have been turned around in a matter of months, others take much longer.

Primary Class Teacher:

  • Experience in teaching in KS1 or KS2 essential
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN and behavioural difficulties
  • Make learning fun and engaging
  • Able to teach a progressive curriculum where children can build on previously learnt skills and knowledge
