37 hours per week - FLEXI TIME, core hours 10am – 3pm with an early finish every Friday!

Our client is looking for an ambitious Hardware Design Engineer to join their well-established team.

The key duties for this role include:

  • Performing Hardware design, following the development plan, meeting the agreed timescales and keeping to allocated budgets.
  • Following the entire process of hardware design by capturing requirements, preliminary design work and final detailed design whilst carrying out analysis throughout.
  • Working with other engineering disciplines, communicating across the integrated team.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or relevant subject.
  • Working experience and understanding of digital and analogue electronic technologies, design tools and techniques.
  • A detailed understanding of electronic circuits design, schematic capture, design analysis, documentation, integration, and commissioning.
  • An articulate and detailed mindset with excellent written and verbal skills.

Tick all those boxes?! The IDEAL candidate will also have:

  • Use of system development tools, such as Enterprise Architect, Matlab and Simulink.
  • Use of analogue simulation tools, such as Simetrix or Spice.
  • Candidates will need to go through UK Security Clearance Checks to be eligible for employment within this role and therefore only UK Residents & Passport Holders can be considered.
