About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialised Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a primary school student with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with challenging behaviour, implementing tailored strategies to manage and improve behaviour.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
- Assist in creating a safe and positive learning environment for the student.
- Monitor and record the student's progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support the student in developing social skills and coping mechanisms.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistent and effective support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, special needs, or behaviour management.
