We are currently seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis in Borehamwood. As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in managing outstanding balances, chasing overdue funds, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively handle and resolve queries related to billing and invoicing.
- Investigate discrepancies in payments and rectify errors promptly.
- Chase overdue accounts and negotiate payment terms with customers.
- Monitor and analyze debtor balances to ensure timely collection of payments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve processes.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances and collection activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing credit control policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of credit control procedures and regulations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and query resolution.
