We are in search of a Treasury Manager for a temporary assignment to oversee our financial activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management and be proficient in using Sage 1000. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organisation by managing cash flow, investments, and financial risks.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash management, banking relationships, and liquidity forecasting.
- Utilise Sage 1000 to monitor and manage financial transactions and reporting.
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to optimise financial performance.
- Analyse and recommend strategies for capital structure, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk management.
- Collaborate with the finance team to align treasury activities with financial goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial risk assessment and treasury-related decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a treasury role within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Sage 1000 and other financial management systems.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and banking relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications in finance or accounting are desirable.
