Miles Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity for a CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist to join a well established and flourishing company based in North Wiltshire.
Our client is looking to continue growing and expanding, aiming to find a hardworking individual who has a passion for engineering.
As a CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist , you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications. Some of your main responsibilities can include:
- Operating CNC lathes of various sizes (Over 10 CNC Lathes).
- Confidently program parts, fully or partially responsible for setting and operating machines.
- Carrying out basic inspections of parts and maintaining machine health.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
To excel in this position as CNC Turning Operator/ Machinist, it is required that you have at least 2 years experience working on CNC Lathes. Other attributes and qualities that would be beneficial can include:
- Previous CAD/ CAM experience (Desired).
- Apprentice trained (Desired).
- Proactive person.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Team player - supports other team members, department strategies and processes as a whole.

- Your work week is: Monday to Friday, finishing at 1pm on Friday.
