Our client is looking for an interim site manager to support on multiple contracts across the North East. The main focus of the role will be Roofing, Bathroom & Kitchen projects, within social housing. The projects will be around repairs, refurbishment and maintenance .

Our client is a Northern based building maintenance contractor, with a focus on service delivery.

Description

  • Lead and manage the property construction team to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
  • Projects include: roofing bathroom and kitchen refurbs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Review project progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor project costs to prevent overruns and ensure profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.

Profile

A successful Section Manager should have:

  • SMSTS, CSCS and any other relevant qualifications would be ideal
  • Experience in managing construction projects,with a focus on social housing
  • Experience of Roofing, Kitchen and Bathroom refurbs and maintenance
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
