Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the management of residential and/or commercial properties. The Property Manager will be responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and landlord compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have a strong understanding of property management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Property Maintenance:

Organize and manage repairs and maintenance to ensure properties are in good condition.

Conduct regular inspections and coordinate necessary improvements or fixes.

Work with external contractors to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.

Tenant & Landlord Relations:

Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, addressing questions, concerns, and disputes.

Handle tenant move-ins, renewals, and lease terminations, including deposit returns and inspections.

Manage tenant inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Financial Management:

Oversee rent collection, handle arrears, and manage payment schedules.

Prepare monthly financial reports for landlords, tracking expenses and income.

Manage property-related budgets, ensuring costs are kept under control.

Legal Compliance:

Ensure properties comply with local regulations, including safety standards for gas, electricity, and energy performance.

Manage tenancy agreements and ensure they are legally compliant.

Stay informed about changes in property laws and ensure practices adhere to legislation.

Marketing & Lettings:

Promote and market vacant properties to secure tenants quickly.

Conduct viewings and screen prospective tenants.

Negotiate and finalize tenancy agreements in line with landlord expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and property regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
- Financial management skills and proficiency with property management software.
