Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for experienced Production Operators for a Client in the Llantrisant area.
This position is temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
Position Overview
To carry out a variety of tasks in relation to Safety, Production, Quality, Line washouts, Material handling, Administrative tasks and housekeeping, to ensure maximum Production output of finished goods.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Previous Production and Manufacturing experience.
- Able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Carry out line wash out cycles.
- Manage a production line and associated equipment effectively.
- Monitor line performance and problems arising.
- Carry out line adjustments where necessary to ensure maximum/quality output subject to competence/training.
- Work continuously towards improvements in line efficiency.
- To work as part of a team and to impart expertise and training to others as necessary.
- Ensure Company quality standards are maintained.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Use a variety of transportation to ensure the safe handling of necessary materials.
- Perform administrative tasks including completion of line documentation.
- Follow production plans.
- Use ERP systems to maintain stock accuracy.
- Follow all relevant housekeeping procedures to ensure that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
Qualifications - Essential
- GCSE English and Mathematics grades A - D (or equivalent).
Qualifications - Desirable
- NVQ Performing Manufacturing Operations.
- Health and Safety qualification.
- Engineering related NVQ.

The hours of work are mornings and afternoons and night shifts.
