Accounting Manager

We are seeking a fully qualified ACCA or ACA Accountant for an established and expanding firm with an exciting future. This key role offers a significant level of responsibility and the opportunity to be ultimately responsible for your own workload.
Day to Day of the role:
- Preparation of complex statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for limited companies.
- Supervising the work of Seniors within the department
- Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns for sole traders and partnerships.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Conducting occasional on-site visits.
- Adhering to deadlines and keeping principals informed of progress.
- Liaising with other departments within the firm.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in a senior accounts/accountant role, preferably within a practice.
- Fully qualified ACCA or ACA (part-qualified or exceptional unqualified candidates will be considered).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Proficiency in digital software, particularly Xero and Sage Cloud.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
- Understanding of corporation and personal tax.
- Familiarity with Iris or Tax Calc is advantageous.
