A large leading Lloyd's Broker is seeking a motivated Trainee Insurance Technician to join their expanding team in the brand new Milton Keynes Hub. This role is ideal for a recent Graduate or School/ College Leaver that is keen to begin a career in insurance, with a focus on technical and support for the broking team.
Role Purpose:
To provide essential technical and administrative support to the broker team, ensuring smooth processing of insurance documents and effective client service.
Main Duties:
- Assisting in the preparation, processing, and management of insurance documentation.
- Supporting brokers with data entry, policy administration, and maintenance of accurate records.
- Assists in the creation of client and broking documents
- Process slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements
- Managing queries from clients, underwriters, and brokers
- Deal with client renewals and mid-term adjustments as appropriate
- Responds to the clients(both internal and external)
- Learning the fundamentals of insurance processes, policies, and risk management.
- Attending team meetings and training sessions to gain a deeper understanding of the insurance industry.
Essential Skills Required:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward developing new skills.
- Minimum education 3 A-Levels grade C or above (or equivalent)
Desirable Skills:
- Some wok experience within Insurance is advantageous but not essential.
- Interest in pursuing industry qualifications such as CII in the future.

- Salary up to £30,000
