Pay Rate: £11.44 / £15.07 per hour (Day Shifts) | £14.70 / £17.69 per hour (Night Shifts)
Working Hours:
- Day Shifts: 06:00 - 15:00 / 09:00 - 18:00
- Night Shifts: 18:00 - 03:00 / 21:00 - 06:00
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team in the Glenfield area. The role involves a mix of self-loads, handballing, and collections, with responsibilities including the loading of pallets into the lorry directly from customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an 7.5 Tonne vehicle to carry out self-loads, handballing, and collections as required.
- Load and unload pallets and goods at customer locations, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with all legal requirements.
- Adhere to all driving regulations, including maintaining accurate records using your Tachograph Card.
- Provide excellent customer service during collections, representing the company professionally at all times.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Category C1 License
- Tachograph Card and CPC Card.
- No more than 6 points on your driving license.
- Experience in self-loading, handballing, and collections is preferred.
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
