Role: Systems Accountant Location: Hampshire - Hybrid - Two the Three days on site
Duration: 2-year Fixed Term Contract
Rate: £42k to £50k
Position overview - Systems Accountant
- Play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining the integrity of financial management systems within the organisation
- Managing financial software, ensuring accurate financial data entry, and providing support to various departments regarding financial reporting and analysis
Responsibilities - Systems Accountant:
- Provide reliable and robust financial information
- Maintain and administer the financial system
- Design, write and produce financial management enquiries, reports and dashboards
- Extract and provide the key data in the right format from the financial system for the closing of accounts and statutory returns
- Lead in the testing and implementation of software releases as required
- Complete all relevant statutory returns, grant claims and other relevant returns
- Review, evaluate and develop the financial system
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial data
- Provide regular training and support to staff members
Person Specification- Systems Accountant:
- Significant Public Sector experience
- Experience in Financial Systems administration
- Experience and ability to implement financial systems
- High level of analytical skills
