About the team

The organisation benefit from a highly experienced, well-networked, award-winning Corporate Finance team. As a leader in the market, they typically work with organisations within the SME space, providing a wide range of advisory offering to best suit the individual client, spanning corporate acquisitions, MBO's/MBI's, raising funds and sales.

As a member of the team, you will have direct influence on the transaction, offering continued opportunity for self-development of both your skills and your network through market research, marketing of deals, soft-skills, commercial skill-set and financial analysis.

About the role

Typical day to day duties include:

  • DD into potential buyers, acquisition targets, and markets.
  • Evaluation and analysis of financial information.
  • Production of important sales documentation, management presentations, and reports.
  • Forecasting, modelling, and assisting with business plan creation.
  • Supporting on transaction project management.
  • Liaising with all transaction stakeholders.
  • Supporting transaction strategy and negotiations.
  • Contributing to business development, supporting pitches, and deal origination.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with the M&A community, including private equity, funders, corporates, law firms, and other advisers.

About you:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or a qualified corporate finance professional)
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Exceptional time management abilities.
  • Spreadsheet/modelling experience and a logical, analytical mind.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent in being actively involved with business development.
  • A strong desire to progress and develop your career.

Salaries:

Salary for this role will depend on your experience and exposure to Corporate Finance. For a first-time ACA mover from practice, you can expect a salary of c.£45,000 + bonus + benefits. A more experienced applicant can expect competitive negotiation, up to c.£80,000 + benefits.
