As an experienced IFA Administrator or Paraplanner, you will ideally have:

  • The ability to research protection, pension, and investment products and understand key information affecting recommendations.
  • The ability to conduct detailed research on legacy products and identify where in-depth analysis is required.
  • An understanding of investment risk, capacity for loss, and loss tolerance, and the ability to construct suitable recommendations.
  • Excellent report writing skills, presenting recommendations clearly and logically.
  • The skills to create and adapt cash flow plans appropriate to clients' circumstances.
  • A good understanding of compliance issues and their impact on advice and suitability processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Critical evaluation skills to probe and challenge facts.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude towards work.
  • The ability to work accurately and follow procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and provider platforms.
