About The Role:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be the main point of contact for clients and managers on site. You will coordinate and lead a team of cleaners, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, you will support the training and induction of new staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

This role is working Monday - Friday. 40 hours per week. The hours are 14:30-23:30 and you would be required to work 1 weekend in a month, which would be a 8am until 5pm day shift.

Additional shift information: 14.30-23.30 Mon-Fri and 1 weekend in every 4 from 08.00-18.00

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Be the clients' and managers' main point of contact on site
  • Coordinate and drive a team on site, while completing core cleaning duties with the team
  • Support the manager with the training and induction of new staff, and the completion of training records
  • Lead by example when completing tasks, following the safe systems of work and method statements
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed to a high standard
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control, preparing for audits
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained in good condition
  • Address any operational issues or challenges that arise, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Demonstrable people skills or experience coordinating a team
  • Experience cleaning in a similar environment or transferable skills, knowledge, and understanding
  • Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and Health & Safety compliance on similar sites/environments
  • Experience in training and inducting colleagues
  • Strong communication skills, essential for client liaison and effective team coordination
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards
