Part Time Accounts Receivable Assistant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a business based in Sheffield as they look to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant on a permanent, part-time (25 hours) basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the trade sales ledger
- Issue invoices and credits
- Manage direct debits and payment allocations
- Contact customers regarding overdue payments and assist with debt collection efforts
- Assist with month-end duties and generate reports on outstanding balances
- Administer the fees and charges ledger, including issuing invoices/credits
- Manage payments and follow up on overdue balances
- Resolve queries with external bodies
- Process refunds and assist with cash counts and online payments
- Manage shared mailboxes
- Provide coverage for other Accounts Receivable roles as needed
- Maintain clear communication with Finance colleagues
Person Specification:
- Hold administration experience within a medium/large size organisation
- Have experience of finance systems, including posting entries & extracting information
- Possess good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Be able to work to deadlines, including re-prioritisation of tasks as necessary
