Position: Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse
Location: West Birmingham
Contract Type: Full Time, 3-Month Placement
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of adult patients within the community
- Administer intramuscular (IM) medication as required
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatment strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide support and education to patients and their families
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements:
- Experience working within Adult Community Health Services
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
- Competence in administering IM medication
- Valid driving licence
- Availability to start as soon as possible
