External Sales Engineer

Field Based - M62 Corridor / Remote

Up to £45,000 + Bonus + CAR

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working with a leading UK distributor of premium hydraulic products to recruit them an External Sales Engineer into their growing business.

As an External Sales Engineer, you will be visiting clients within your region with the vision of developing sales and managing current accounts. You will be looking at hydraulic components or reading drawings and finding the fault to provide a solution. Achieving new growth and maintaining customer relationships will be your main priority.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customers within your territory
  • Develop and build relationships and credibility with customers
  • Develop new customer sales within your territory
  • Source and identify new project prospects
  • Liaise with customers offering technical support, quotations, training and visits.

Requirements:

  • Background in account management / sales selling a technical product
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic systems, particularly truck and mobile systems
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics and systems
  • A Full UK Driving license is essential
  • Knowledge of EV for truck/mobile equipment would be beneficial
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and employees.
