Environmental, Health & Safety Manager
Salary: Basic Circa £85,000, Benefits including Pension, Healthcare etc.
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
A large Blue-Chip organisation is currently recruiting a Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to be based at one of their manufacturing sites in Bradford. Working at a top tier COMAH site, you will be required to lead a team of 5 people, managing all aspects of environmental, health & safety matters within the facility. You will be required to further develop and implement EHS policies as well as ensuring compliance, audits are completed to the highest standard and collaborate with senior members of staff.
Skills required for an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager:
- The ideal candidate will have ideally worked in the Chemical sector or a Process driven manufacturing site.
- Ideally qualified to degree standard in environmental science, chemistry or engineering subjects.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing EHS programmes and initiatives.
- Must hold professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with people at all levels.
