Elevation Recruitment Group's Senior Finance division are delighted to be working on an interim Tax Manager position with a leading business based in Hull.
This is a 12 month FTC to cover a period of maternity and comes with a market leading benefits package.
As Tax Manager you will:
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies, both domestically and internationally.
- Advise on the tax implications of strategic business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all required tax returns and filings.
- Manage relationships with external tax consultants and oversee tax audits and queries.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in financial statements, including deferred tax assets/liabilities and tax provisions.
- Develop and maintain tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
- Lead, develop, and mentor peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to provide tax-related guidance and support.
- Evaluate systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and controls.
