Our client is looking for a Telesales and Sales Support Advisor to join their company based in St Leonards. The role is office based with no travelling; we do not offer hybrid working.
Main Duties
- Make daily outgoing sales-based phone calls to meet targets set by the Sales Co-ordinator.
- Work towards increasing business and build good working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Keep records of calls and sales notes using the CRM system.
- Follow up sales opportunities and new accounts
- Update AX/CRM with necessary details and liaise with other departments to ensure company data systems are kept up to date, including GDPR compliance.
- Understand the product ranges and be able to discuss these with external customers within company standards.
- Assist in compiling direct and indirect marketing lists. Then make follow up calls from those marketing campaigns.
- Provide literature and other supporting materials, when requested to external customers and Account Managers.
- Direct prospective customers or new business from existing customers to the Sales Co-ordinator or Account Manager when needed.
- Handle complaints, within company standard, to preserve the company's reputation.
- Assist other departments when needed.
- To carry out any other duties as and when required to facilitate the effective operation of the company as directed by the Sales Co-ordinator, Snr Managers or Directors.
- To work at all times in accordance with the Company's quality procedures.
- To protect all quality system documentation issued in order to prevent loss, damage and deterioration.
- To contribute ideas towards improvements in the quality system.
- To cooperate during quality system audits and implement immediate and long-term corrective action under direct control within agreed time scales.
Skills
- A good telephone manner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Administrative and IT skills are essential.
- Organised and able to work to deadlines.
- Worked within a telesales environment.
Hours
- Part time
- 9:15am to 2:45pm Monday to Friday,
- 5.5 hours per day, 27.5 hours per week
- Open to some small flexibility on the exact hours, both the timing and length (reducing not increasing) but would be looking at no less than 5 hours per day and it must be for 5 days a week.
