We are recruiting a full-time, Reception Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the L9 area of Liverpool, starting in September 2024. There could be the option of securing a permanent contract for the right person.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in their Early Years department for a Reception Teaching Assistant who can start in September.

Reception Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:
- Use specialist skills/training/experience to support pupils and enhance their learning and so progress
- Undertake programmes linked to local and national learning strategies eg. Literacy, numeracy, EYFS recording achievement and progress and feeding back to the teacher
- Prepare, maintain, and use equipment/resources required to meet the lesson plans/relevant learning activity and assist pupils in their use
- To work with small groups of children and to take responsibility for their learning
Non-negotiables:
- Previous experience of working with children aged 4-11 in a voluntary or paid capacity
- Knowledge of the EYFS Framework
