My client is keen to secure the services of a suitably qualified Systems Accountant to join on a 15 month Fixed Term Contract to lead their Finance Transformation project, transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations from our current on-premise Open Accounts systems. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of their financial systems and processes, supporting their members and influencing policies. As the main membership organisation for their profession, they are an excellent employer who work on a hybrid basis, two days per week in their Central London offices, three days from home.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage and lead the Finance Team Subject Matter Experts as required.
- Work closely with the third-party implementation team, Technical Accountant, and Project Team to deliver the statement of work.
- Be responsible for bringing all stakeholders together to design a system that delivers the end-to-end transactional processing and reporting structures and controls required for a group that includes a Trade Union/Membership Organisation, trading subsidiary, and Charity.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and within scope, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a CCAB accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Microsoft Power Apps.
- Skilled Project Manager with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Great communication skills, including the ability to present information to finance and non-finance staff in a clear and concise manner.
- A proactive approach with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
