As a Finance Systems Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to the finance team and ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems within the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the maintenance and administration of financial systems, including data entry, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Generating standard and ad-hoc financial reports and assisting with their analysis.
  • Assisting with the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Conducting regular system audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Providing training and support to finance colleagues on the effective use of financial systems.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practises to continually improve system efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using financial systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
