HR Administrator

We are excited to be recruiting for a HR Administrator for a huge client based in Banks Southport, this role is an easy commute from Preston!

HR Administrator Salary: £12 per hour (overtime rate £15)

HR Administrator hours: Monday - Friday, hours are negotiable between 7am and 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

HR Administrator Roles and Responsibilites:

  • Full induction of the company's new starters/employees
  • Assisting with the recruitment process by creating and publishing job adverts, contacting candidates, arranging and attending interviews.
  • Assisting and managing the onboarding process by conducting Right to Work checks in line with the current guidelines.
  • Updating HR database with employee information and documentation: new starters, changes, leavers, fixed term contract renewals.
  • Managing weekly reporting in relation to payroll, working time directive, accommodation charges, holidays, absence logs.
  • Taking minutes at the meetings as requested: investigatory, disciplinary, grievance, welfare and other

Our ideal HR Administrator:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of UK employment legislation,
  • High level of customer service skills: phone calls, emails, face-to-face; ability to adapt style to audience requirements
  • Self-motivated, ability to self-manage and prioritise workload, work to the strict deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in providing administrative tasks
