Program Manager Physical Security Design

To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity, we are looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our Field Solutions Implementation and Support (FSIS) Design team as Program Manager. In this key role, you will own difficult physical security design projects and programs across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).Key job responsibilities• Drive tactical physical security design projects and programs across EMEA• Engage with other teams to coordinate designs and specify security requirements in 2D and 3D using software programs such as CAD, REVIT, and BIM• Manage external physical security design firms during the entire design process• Ensure all physical security design projects and programs follow standards, policies, and guidelines• Ensure all projects and programs are consistently improving on cost effectivenessA day in the lifeAs a Program Manager on the FSIS Design team, you will join a team of professionals supporting the Security and Loss Prevention team with the creation and review of physical security designs for new launches, retrofits, expansions, and parking lots. This includes video surveillance systems, access control, and intrusion detection across all business units except for corporate offices and third-party sites. To achieve this goal, you will drive tactical risk-based, cost effective, and operationally acceptable physical security design projects and programs that enable the prevention, intervention, and investigation of security incidents, minimize losses, and mitigate risks within operational sites across EMEA. You will engage with other teams to coordinate designs and specify security requirements in 2D and 3D using software programs such as CAD, REVIT, and BIM. You will be responsible for onboarding as well as managing external physical security design firms during the entire design process. You will also ensure that all of your physical security design projects and programs follow standards, policies, and guidelines. Finally, you will identify and drive change within the business, pushing initiatives such as security design process improvements, design optimization through cost savings, updating of standards, automation of tasks, and FSIS cross-team support.About the teamWorking in partnership with our stakeholders, Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promotes security during business conversations. Sitting within Security and Loss Prevention, the FSIS team does this by managing physical security maintenance activities and installing compliant security systems in most business units across EMEA. This is achieved by providing equipment and installation costs, sourcing external business partners to install security systems, ensuring installers follow agreed methodology and guidelines for system installation and commissioning, and reviewing ad-hoc installation requests across the network to ensure business agreed purpose is met. We deliver projects and initiatives to improve, standardize, and create end-user and sustainable security designs that comply with local legislation and Amazon standards. We also improve the current EMEA security infrastructure to optimize Security and Loss Prevention performance and support business initiatives. Finally, we strive for a consistent and scalable approach to continuously support the fast-changing business environment and mitigate risks to Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- A relevant degree or degree equivalent (e.g., engineering, technology, security)- Relevant experience in the security field and/or relevant experience in the physical security design domain- Relevant experience using Autodesk software (e.g., Autocad, Naviswork, Revit)- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment, particularly Excel to collate and analyse metrics- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English
