We are looking for an experienced finance professional on a part time basis. This opportunity is a broad role, within a small team, where you will be an essential member for the business's success.
Due to the reduced hours, this role could suit someone looking to wind down or who is seeking a stronger work/ life balance.
This position is 16 hours a week and there is complete flexibility on how many days a week you wish to work.
Title: Part Time Finance Manager
Salary: £25 per hour/ £50,000 full time equivalent
Hours: 16 hours a week
Type: Permanent, part time position
Location: Maidenhead, office based
Finance Manager responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts and spreadsheets each month-end
- Manage daily cash book and bank accounts in multiple currencies (sterling and euros)
- Actioning quarterly VAT returns
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Audits, revaluations, quarterly forecasts
- Prepare calculations for payroll and post journals
- Managing benefit schemes; pension payments, car leasing agreements and expenses
- Oversee HMRC payments and documents
- Liaising with suppliers for invoices payments and query handling
- Managing accruals and prepayments from clients
- Manage debtors, professionally chasing for payments
We are looking for:
- An experienced finance professional
- Comfortable with a standalone role within finance
- Strong Excel knowledge
- Zero and/ or Quickbooks systems (desirable)
