We are recruiting for a local authority in Leicestershire that is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment. We are currently seeking a Temporary School Financial Advisor to join their team and support their financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the school's financial planning and budgeting processes.
Provide financial advice and support to the school's leadership team.
Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability.
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Support the implementation of financial systems and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Professional accounting qualification ( Level 4 equiv) is preferred.
Proven experience in financial management, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
