As a Food Safety Manager, you will be responsible for providing proactive, visible and progressive functional leadership of the food safety and public health agenda/programme across Warner Hotels. .

What will you be doing?

  • Design, deploy, manage and monitor a suitable and sufficient food safety and public health strategy/programme across Warner Hotels
  • Ensure effective governance and assurance of food safety and public health, with particular focus across key risk areas.
  • Ultimately leading the Brand to deliver strong food safety and public health performance through equipped people committed to doing the right thing, supported by effective processes.
  • Develop strategies and ideas alongside stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting of food safety and public health incidents, to reduce incident levels and improve performance.
  • Proactively support the development and execution of business wide HSS programmes and standards.
  • Where required support stakeholders to ensure effective food safety and public health inputs and outputs from committee meetings and working groups.

What are we looking for?

  • Thorough working knowledge of relevant food safety and public health standards and regulations.
  • Food safety and public health experience working in Leisure and Hospitality sector, or similar comparable/higher risk sectors.
  • Must have experience of food safety/public health management experience
  • Degree level in food safety/public health or equivalent (or working towards)
  • L4 Food Safety qualification
  • Membership to recognised professional body
