They are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their growing team to work on local and national projects. The business is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and self-motivated Engineer to join their team at a principal level who can work autonomously and manage their own projects the size of which would depend on the experience of the candidate.
Responsibilities will include;
- Senior point of contact and project delivery
- Liaise with clients, managing and developing relationships
- Site visits
- Help guide and develop junior team members
- Contributing to knowledge sharing, individual professional and academic development
- Participating and contributing to design team meetings
- Ensuring best practice is in place
The successful applicant will have the following competencies:
- Self-motivated, able to work on their own with minimal supervision.
- Can demonstrate clear effective communication skills both within the offices and external bodies.
- Able to produce designs and reports for building structures
- Able to direct and assist junior engineers
- Will have a good understanding of the design process, know how a building goes together and be able to liaise effectively with clients, architects and contractors
Educational and experience
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering
Ideally Experience with buildings and civil structures
