Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the skills to engage and inspire students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Integra Education are currently working with a fantastic OFSTED rated good secondary school in Urmston. The school are looking to recruit a passionate Teacher of Maths to join the school on a full time basis.
This will be a Temp-perm position for the right candidate.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages participation and supports students' emotional and social well-being.
- Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each student.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths and a passion for teaching.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable, though not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
