Customer Services Manager
Annual Salary: £35k - £40k (dependent on experience and successful completion of training)

Reed is working with a leading manufacturing company based in Bradford. Our client is seeking a Customer Services Manager to work with their busy manufacturing teams. This role offers a great opportunity to shape the department for the future, grow within the role, and join our senior leadership team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as the primary interface between the company and our customers, maintaining their reputation as a market leader
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, prioritising high-value strategic accounts and ensuring we are the preferred supplier for timber and sheet materials
- Manage and support the Customer Services Assistant in handling order processing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks
- Oversee credit control management, ensuring timely payments and assessing customer creditworthiness
- Solve customer problems by liaising with production and other teams to mediate disputes and resolve issues related to quality or order accuracy
- Manage operational and customer reports, providing regular analysis and updates to the Commercial Director
- Ensure compliance documentation is up-to-date and distributed as required
- Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings and transport capacities to improve service delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in customer service processes, potentially implementing new systems to enhance efficiency and customer experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years' experience in customer services or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Proven line management experience and ability to lead a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office, ERP Systems, and CRM
- Highly professional, commercially astute, and focused on profitability
