I am working with a small, family-run business who are looking for a Showroom Sales Assistant to join their welcoming and supportive work environment.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and has a passion for sales and customer service. Although the role includes some sales elements, they are very light and encompass a variety of tasks, including customer interaction, phone inquiries, and product advice. Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role to ensure your success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in managing and organising customer accounts
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or questions
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities for growth
Experience and Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
