We are seeking experienced School Administrators to join secondary schools across the Cambridgeshire area. This role is ideal for individuals who are adept at handling a variety of administrative tasks within an educational setting and are looking for long-term opportunities with the potential to become permanent members of the school's administrative team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the reception area and act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries, ensuring messages are passed on to the appropriate staff member.
  • Maintain accurate records, both electronically and on paper, including student attendance and staff absence.
  • Assist with the organisation of school events and meetings.
  • Support the finance department with invoicing and the management of school funds.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and newsletters as required.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the school office, including ordering supplies and managing inventory.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to facilitate communication and the efficient running of the school.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with school management systems is an advantage.
