We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the financial health of the company, and providing strategic guidance to support our growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring effective financial management and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Present financial reports to the board of directors and senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
- Investment Management: Oversee investment activities and manage the company's investment portfolio. Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities.
- Cost Management: Implement cost control measures to improve profitability. Monitor and manage expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in financial modeling and financial software.
