My client is a renowned and established organisation based in Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a permanent basis.
Description
Management Accountant responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports
- Work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure financial transparency
- Maintain and manage budgeting processes
- Production of balance sheet and review of all balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns, VAT annual adjustment reporting
- Contribute to financial strategy planning and execution
- Oversee 2 team members
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Experience is a similar Management Accountant role
- Strong understanding and experience of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, practical knowledge of Word and Outlook
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
