PRODUCTION PLANNER
£32,744 per annum
Barnsley
39 hours per week
Monday- Friday 08:30- 17:00 (16:00 on Friday)
Based within a fast-paced, large manufacturing facility, this role is critical to supporting the efficient and effective production of Internal & External Doors & Systems.
The purpose of the role is to create a relevant and achievable plan for Production that supports the strategic business KPIs. Linking with the Purchasing Team team to review raw material availability and aligning this with planning, whilst reviewing inventory and re-order patterns to maintain optimal levels of finished goods.
The Role:
Produce daily planning schedules
Utilise MasterPack software to produce relevant reports
Generate Management Information through effective analysis of data from various sources
Work in line with set targets to manage finished goods inventory levels
Ensure all production planning activities align and engage with overall Customer Service performance targets
Always supporting the associated CI Projects
Attend management meetings to present planning information where required
Contribute and consistently work towards personal and departmental targets and KPIs
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a production planning environment is critical
A self-motivated attitude
The ability to prioritise workload and act effectively from own initiative
Excellent IT Skills in particular with Word and Excel
The ability to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels both internally 7 externally
Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent to include English and Maths
