Our thriving mainstream secondary school in Bromley is seeking an Inclusion Lead to join our team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term position lasting until the end of the academic year, with a salary range dependent on your experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support the inclusion of all students, ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to identify and address the diverse needs of students.
- Coordinate and lead interventions for students with additional needs, including those with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting respect and understanding among students and staff.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on inclusive practices and differentiation techniques.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies regarding inclusion and equality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Proven track record in supporting students with diverse needs.
- A current DBS check on the update service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and equality within the school environment.
