Responsibilities include:
- Quarterly forecasting and budgeting, highlighting opportunities and risks to ensure strategy is in line with overall business objectives.
- Financial ownership of month end expenditure and costs.
- Interpreting cost variances against plan and identifying risks and opportunities that could underpin future sales trends.
- Acting as a dedicated Business Partner to the Senior Marketing Managers as well as cross functional involvement with all Commercial functions in order to deliver the optimal sales and profit position for the whole business area.
- Evaluation of spend to ensure monies are spent appropriately with consideration given to an adequate return on investment being achieved.
To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA or equivalent) with excellent academics, advanced Excel skills and the ability to demonstrate:
- Ability to drive insight from data.
- Strong communication skills with first class influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent commercial awareness
