Calling out to Sales professionals with commercial knowledge of the hospitality sector within the luxury travel market looking for a new challenge with a stunning and renowned 5* property near Glasgow.

We are recruiting for Sales Manager to join an outstanding employer based in the Glasgow area. This impressive property is guided by family values and boasts individually designed bedrooms, a championship golf course, spa facilities and fine dining. A famous wedding venue and exclusive conference and banqueting facilities among a grand private residence with a Scottish setting.

The Sales Manager will proactively drive sales activities to the hotel across all segments to include hotel events, leisure & golfing experiences, corporate and conferencing. Develop and manages relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels such as corporate, incentive, association markets and destination management companies to ensure the property needs are being achieved and the sales efforts.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive commercial knowledge of the luxury hospitality market with significant sales experience in a 5* hotel
  • Experience in a lifestyle/distinctive brand is advantageous
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets
  • Flexibility to adjust to the changing needs of the business, taking on new ideas, initiatives, brands, and responsibilities
  • Ability to work simultaneously on several initiatives and priorities often under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and parts of the world
  • Strong professional presentation skills
  • Ability to stay objective and fair when dealing with sensitive internal/external customer situations maintaining constructive working relations
  • Passionate self-starter, exhibiting initiative, confidence, professionalism, and good judgment
  • Ability to make business decisions with integrity and honesty
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Highest level of competency in the use of Microsoft office programs is required
  • Previous experience of working with lead generation and CRM systems is also essential
