A leading housing provider is on the lookout for a skilled Housing Lettings Administrator/Advisor to become a part of their dedicated team in Nottinghamshire. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engaging with prospective tenants and local authorities to streamline the lettings process.
  • Evaluating new tenant applications to confirm their suitability and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with tenants to collect essential information and documents.
  • Coordinating property viewings and managing the associated logistics.
  • Managing tenancy alterations and ensuring records are kept up-to-date.
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks to assist the lettings team.
  • Precisely entering data into the housing database.
  • Administering the document management system to maintain current and accurate paperwork.
  • Supervising the end of tenancy procedures, including the completion of final inspections and related documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative capacity, within the housing industry.
  • Effective communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in IT, with a particular focus on housing databases and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A customer-centric approach, with the ability to professionally manage enquiries.
  • Prior experience with a social housing provider or local authority will be considered an asset.
  • Previous lettings experience is welcomed, though not a prerequisite for the role.
