Day-to-day of the role:
- Engaging with prospective tenants and local authorities to streamline the lettings process.
- Evaluating new tenant applications to confirm their suitability and adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborating with tenants to collect essential information and documents.
- Coordinating property viewings and managing the associated logistics.
- Managing tenancy alterations and ensuring records are kept up-to-date.
- Undertaking general administrative tasks to assist the lettings team.
- Precisely entering data into the housing database.
- Administering the document management system to maintain current and accurate paperwork.
- Supervising the end of tenancy procedures, including the completion of final inspections and related documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in an administrative capacity, within the housing industry.
- Effective communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in IT, with a particular focus on housing databases and Microsoft Office suite.
- A customer-centric approach, with the ability to professionally manage enquiries.
- Prior experience with a social housing provider or local authority will be considered an asset.
- Previous lettings experience is welcomed, though not a prerequisite for the role.
