Overview
My client, a large Lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Specification Manager to join their team in the South West region, specifically Cornwall, Devon and the TA postcodes of Somerset. The ideal candidate will have experience in specification sales and project-based sales within the logistics and warehousing sector, specifically focused on Commercial, Industrial, Education and Healthcare sectors.
Main duties & responsibilities
In general terms to promote the purchase of my clients products and to create the demand for those products from electrical contractors, electrical consultants / specifiers, architects, local authorities and end users, which will be supplied via the appropriate distribution network.
- Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
- Follow the requirements of the Company's ISO Procedure.
- Follow the Company's Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.
Post Requirements
- Lighting knowledge.
- Understanding of lighting schemes.
- Geographical knowledge of area and customer base.
- Ability to sell.
- Ability to manage a project from conception to conclusion.
- Good attitude and ability to self-motivate.
