Sales Administrator

We are seeking a Part-Time (17 hours per week*) Sales Administrator to join a lovely little company in Chiswick, currently ran by 2 part-time employees. This role is ideal for someone who is well-organised, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses excellent communication skills. The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining client relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of sales and administrative tasks.

  • Part-time: 9 am - 12 pm for three days per week and 9 am - 5 pm for one day per week (days to be agreed). This equates to a 17-hour working week, split over 4 days. The pay rate for this role is £15 per hour (flexible for the right person).

Day to day of the role:

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling enquiries and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Input orders accurately and follow up on their progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage invoicing, book couriers, and ensure all sales activities are completed efficiently.
  • Answer telephone enquiries, providing exceptional service and support to clients.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for potential sales.
  • Work independently, managing your time effectively whether in the office or working from home.
  • Attend the office as required, typically 1-2 mornings per week, to collaborate with the team and manage tasks that require a physical presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
  • Experience in using Sage Accounts 50 is beneficial but not essential.
