My client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a well-established SaaS company to help them manage Azure-based cloud services and deliver DevOps practices. The right candidate could also come from a cloud engineering, development or platform development background as the company are willing to offer training to the right candidate.
You'll be working in a small DevOps team where you'll receive plenty of 1-to-1 training and upskilling from the DevOps Lead. You'll be working on a broad range of cloud-focused projects and work with the senior management team to develop new solutions. The team can offer the flexibility to regularly work from home 3 days a week.
Essential skills and technologies
- 1-3 year's DevOps/Platform/Cloud engineering experience in an Azure cloud environment
- Microsoft background, ideally with some experience of writing code (C# or similar)
- Following set Deployment, Development and Operations processes
- Implementing CI/CD processes
- Container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Database administration (SQL)
Desirable skills and technologies
- Experience Azure Pipelines or similar is highly desirable
- Experience with Docker or similar
- An understanding of Agile, SCRUM
- Degree level education in an IT related topic
The company are are hybrid and applicants should expect to commute to the office in Winchester twice a week with additional flex offered depending on project workload. Applicants must be able to get to their offices on a weekly basis and be UK based. Unfortunately no VISA sponsorship is available at this time so candidates must be a British passport holder or be eligible to work through EU Settled or ILR status.
