An exciting opportunity has arisen within a highly respected Housing Association based in Surrey for an outgoing Rent and Service Charge Officer to join the team in facilitating a smooth rent & service charge resident experience.
Type: 3 months temporary
Location: Hybrid working, two days onsite in Surrey
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday; 9am – 5pm
Daily duties:
- Prepare and send rent and service charges notifications to all residents
- Ensured leasehold management and service charges are applied accurately and within terms of the leases and current legislation
- Setting and monitoring rent and service charge income budgets and budgets for all other income including reconciliations of income accounts and income related balance sheet accounts
- Dealing with queries regarding service charges, including complaints
- Carry out associated functions to ensure rent and service charge collection is managed efficiently across the business
Essential requirements:
- Experience of Section 20 administrations
- Rent setting in Social Housing
