We are seeking an outstanding and inspiring English Teacher to join our successful and dynamic English department at a brilliant school in Plymouth. The award-winning school provides education and support to pupils between the years of 11-19 across a range of subjects, with a focus on creating independent thinkers with high expectations of their own work. The school is also easily accessible by public transport.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students of all abilities, from KS3 to KS5.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience of teaching English to students of all abilities
- A degree in English or a related subject
- A passion for teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to motivate and engage students
