My client is a fast-growing company specializing in facilities management with over 25 years of experience. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Mechanical Surveyor to join their ever-growing team based in Hampshire.
Responsibilities:
- Visit sites and liaise with clients to develop relationships
- Asses projects to determine materials and labour and negotiate with our suppliers to get the best value for new and extra work requirements
- Managing labour and sub- contract labour
- Keep records of business activity
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience within the FM services industry. (If you do not meet these criteria please still apply)
- 3 years of mechanical experience as a mechanical contracts/ project manager
- Full UK Driving license
- Gas safe qualification
- In-depth knowledge of appropriate and up-to-date safety regulations.
- Great verbal and written communication skills as this role requires ongoing interaction with our clients.
- Reviewing agreed performance indicators for contractors and consultants and making sure you implement any needed improvements.
- Working knowledge of contractual documentation
- Commercial awareness to ensure you add as much value as possible to clients' businesses.
