IT Technician - Gloucester - £24,000 - £29,000

I am seeking an IT Technician to work within an educational environment. The role will be working Monday - Friday on-site. You will be handling hardware, software, network, and telephony support, whilst working alongside other technicians. The successful IT Technician will provide support either face-to-face, email or phone to a network of internal customers, and will ensure that all problems are either solved or escalated to the correct members of the IT team. You will provide support to bespoke software and hardware devices as well as having strong experience in the Microsoft office family of products.

As the successful IT Technician, you will have knowledge in most of the following:

  • IT Support experience
  • Windows 10 support and troubleshooting experience
  • supporting Office365
  • Windows Server and Azure experience
  • Hardware support and troubleshooting experience
  • telephony support
  • Application support
  • Active Directory
  • Basic Exchange queries
  • Basic Networking skills
  • DNS/DHCP
